Flores goes the extra mile

When it comes to taking care of the Business Information Center (BIC) in the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, Custodian Mercedes Flores knows what she’s doing. In fact, she does her job so well that staff members in the BIC have taken notice.

“Mercedes has gone the extra mile to make sure that work surfaces, tables, shelves, carpets, windows, doors and walls are always immaculate inside the Jones School Library,” said Jonathan Robinson, evening supervisor for the BIC. “Moreover, since construction began on the third floor, Mercedes has made an extra effort to make sure that the tables and floors have remained clean throughout the day, even while dust seems to be constantly falling.”
