Beginning this evening (July 24th) at 6 p.m., the West Commuter Lot 2 and the east side of West Commuter Lot 3 will be sectioned off for work. We expect this work will be completed by August 12th, weather permitting.
Energy consumption reduction is needed on campus during the week of July 14 as electrical work is ongoing
Facilities Engineering and Planning will be repairing the electrical equipment for the dedicated electrical feed to the campus in an effort to provide more reliable power to Rice.
Uretek will be onsite Monday, July 14, at 9 a.m. to try to lift the area of the Abercrombie Northwest Concourse that is holding water after rain.
There will be photovoltaic panels installed on the roof of Jones College South to supplement the energy use of the building. The project is scheduled to begin on Thursday, July 10, and will be completed Saturday, July 9.
