Rice Village Apartments (Shakespeare)

The Rice Village Apartments opened to Rice graduate students in January 2009. The apartments are located one block west of Rice University on Shakespeare St. between Morningside Dr. and Kirby Dr. The four-story residential building, totaling 119,000-square feet, features 237 beds in 137 units, a bike room and dedicated shuttle service to and from the university. This project enabled the university to provide affordable housing in close proximity to campus for its graduate student population.
