Named for former U.S. Secretary of Energy Charles Duncan ’47 and his wife Anne, Duncan College will be the first LEED Gold-certified project on the Rice University campus. The college is designed to hold 324 beds and will feature a “Green Roof,” which holds soil and protects plant life. The college was built simultaneously with McMurtry College and completed in the August 2009. The colleges are critical part of Rice’s Vision for the Second Century, expanding the undergraduate population by 30%.

The sidewalk just north of Baker College near the Humanities Building will be closed on Nov. 3

Paver repair work at RMC10/9/2009

Repair work scheduled for the Ley Plaza at the Rice Memorial Center on Sunday, Oct. 18

Asphalt repairs for Stadium Lot

Roadway repairs to the Stadium Lot are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Alumni Drive repairs scheduled

Road repair scheduled to begin on Friday, Oct. 9. and finish at the end of Mid-term Recess

Sidewalk repairs10/2/2009

Several sidewalk repairs around campus will commence Wednesday October 7.
