Parking access control island construction

On Friday, Sept.4. a small portion of roadway on the southern-side of campus Entrance 9 will be closed for the construction of a new parking access control island. The entrance will be closed the entire duration of the project which is expected to complete by Friday, Sept.18.

West Lot 5 will be restricted to one entry point only behind the Rice Police building nearest the Post Office. Access to the South Stadium Parking Lot will be by way of the east entrance from University Blvd. for vehicles. Access to the athletic facilities for pedestrians, bicycles and carts will be unaffected.
