A segment of asphalt has failed near Entrance 8 and the Rice Media Center. This area has been barricaded and a small portion of one lane of traffic entering the campus is blocked. Emergency repairs are scheduled to begin early Monday, Jul. 27. The road remains passable to two-way traffic at this time.
