Bennett receives praise
Ana Ramirez, director of project planning, recognized Charlotte Bennett at the March 24, 2009 Executive Committee meeting for Facilities, Engineering & Planning (FE&P) for her recent efforts in the department. Charlotte began at Rice as a temporary employee, but within a year and a half she was hired full-time. She very quickly proved herself highly effective in working very closely with several FE&P project managers.
“Charlotte is very professional in her approach to work and she demonstrates a high degree of loyalty and trustworthiness to her associates” Ramirez said. “She always carries out her responsibilities with a high level of energy, especially with regards to her participation on committees; in particular, her collaborative work on the Contract Committee has proved invaluable. She is personable, persuasive, and hard-working.” Charlotte now works as Ramirez’ personal assistant and is responsible for handling various department coordinator tasks and working on special projects. Barbara Bryson, associate vice president for FE&P echoed the statement by saying “She has been a great addition to our staff.”
